Kenneth Graeme PUTNAM

PUTNAM, Kenneth Graeme PUTNAM, Kenneth Graeme - 76, Dartmouth, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on February 13, 2008. Born in Lower Onslow, he was a son of Lewis and Mary Putnam. Ken was a graduate of Mount Allison University and Nova Scotia Tech. He joined British American Oil as a professional engineer in 1958, retiring from Petro Canada Ltd. in 1988. He remained active in his field for a number of years as a consultant. Ken loved to sail and spend quality time with his little friend Winston. Ken was a kind and perfect gentleman, a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather. He is survived by wife, Shelia (Lake) Putnam; sons, Robert (Priscilla) Putnam, Cole Harbour; David (Connie) Putnam, Hammonds Plains; Kevin (Yuen) Putnam, Toronto, Ont.; brothers, Doug Putnam, Dartmouth; Al (Joan) Putnam, Truro; grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Daniel and Evie; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the request of the family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16, at 1 p.m. in Wyndholme Christian Church, Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wyndholme Christian Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one's choice.
