HUNTER, Wanda The death occurred peacefully with her family at her side, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Friday, February 15, 2008, of Wanda Hunter, formerly of Schurman Avenue, Summerside, age 85 years. Born in Margate, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Theresa (Thompson) Mill. Survived by her daughters, Carol Mann, Summerside; Marilyn (Graham) Peck, Charlottetown; Wendy Hunter, Victoria, B.C.; Betty Hunter, Bedeque; Barbara Hunter, Summerside; grandchildren, Chad (Julie) Mann, Summerside; Ryan Mann, Toronto, Ont.; Kelly Peck, Victoria, B.C.; Ashley Peck, Charlottetown; Marc Hunter, Victoria, B.C.; Hannah and Chloe Hunter, Summerside; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Kathleen and Alex Mann, Kayden Peck; and by a sister, Ona (Dave) Biggar, North Bedeque. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Bertram (Bert) Hunter and by a brother, Elwin Mill. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society, the Alzheimer Society or to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
