David Vernon HINCH

HINCH, David Vernon HINCH, David Vernon - Eastern Passage, February 3, 1948 - February 14, 2008. It is with heavy hearts that on February 14 suddenly, but peacefully, with his family by his side, at the age of 60, Dave was taken from us far too soon. He was the beloved husband and best friend of 40 years to Gladys Hinch (LaBelle); father to Shona Firth (Hinch) and David Jr. "Hinchie"; father-in-law to Terry Firth; proud Papa to Bronson; brother to Donnie, Wayne, Sheila, Maxine, Gail, Diane, Josey, Judy, Joan, Margie, and Sharon; brother-in-law and uncle to many. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Edna "Mame" (Cleary); brother, Reginald, and sister, Ella. Visitation will be held on February 18 in Eastern Passage Funeral Home, 5 Cowbay Rd., 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on February 19 in St. Clements Church, 16 Gaston Rd., at 10 a.m. Reception to follow at the Lions Club, Hornes Road, Eastern Passage. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses at the Halifax Infirmary, especially Dr. Wood. A special thank you to Tracey Stewart (our angel here on earth). Dave was a very special man who loved his family dearly and loved children and music. He was a very talented craftsman.
