ARSENAULT, Verno Joseph The death occurred peacefully, and surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Thursday, January 24, 2008, of Verno Joseph Arsenault of Summerside, and formerly of Montreal, Quebec, age 75 years. Verno was born in Summerside, P.E.I., on October 13, 1932, to his late parents, Stanley and Yvonne Arsenault. Lovingly remembered by his stepmother, Lena Arsenault of the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside; his brothers and sisters, Ray of Summerside, Irma (Robert) Perry of Summerside, Jo-Anne (Charles) Mountain of Summerside, Carol (Tony) Gabriel of Trenton, Ont., and Judy Doiron (Roger Gallant) of Summerside, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Verno was predeceased by his sister, Erma, and his brother, Kenneth, in infancy. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday, January 28, 2008, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside, at a later date. Memorial donations in Verno’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated.
