MACKAY, Weirum C. Peacefully at home, among family and friends, on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, of Weirum C. MacKay of 33 Barrett St., Kensington, age 75 years. Born in Clinton, son of the late Bert L. and Marion (Heaney) MacKay. Husband of Enid (Howatt) MacKay. Father of Brian, Stanley Bridge; Blake (Leona), New Glasgow; and Marvin (Bev), Charlotte, North Carolina. Grandfather of Lydia-Jean, Kevin, Luke, Bryanna and Kalina. Brother of Mary (Melville) Johnson, Moncton. Brother-in-law of Marion MacKay, Fredericton, N.B.; Nancy MacKay, Summerside; Dr. Erwin (Heather) Howatt, Kensington; Sharon (Terry) Simpson, Kamloops, B.C.; Wendell (Joy) Howatt, Truro, N.S.; and Dr. Eric (Paula) Howatt, Wolfville, N.S. Nephew of Elsie Woodside, Charlottetown. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons, Kevin and Alexander; brothers, Dr. Willard MacKay and Dr. W. Allan MacKay, sister, Ola, and stepmother, Amy Mountain-MacKay. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday at the Kensington United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in New London People's Cemetery.
