Lois Joyce SMITH

SMITH, Lois Joyce SMITH, Lois Joyce - 67, Kirk Street, Yarmouth, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 2, 1940, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Donald Poole and Viola Smith. Lois worked as a Personal Care Worker at Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac for a number of years. Surviving are sons, Anthony (Lisa), Arcadia; Donald, Yarmouth; Glen (Robbin), South Ohio; daughters, Pam Smith, Yarmouth; Sherry (Tony) Clairmont, Yarmouth; Gina (Harold) Barkhouse, Kingston, Ont.; seven grandchildren; brothers, Earl (Helen), Yarmouth; Gordon, Kelly's Cove; Roy (Susan), Ontario, and sister, Pat (Herman) LeBlanc, Arcadia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Smith. Cremation has taken place and spring burial will take place in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Canadian Liver Foundation, Halifax Chapter. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M.
