ELLIS, Mary Anastasia (nee Gillis) At the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Saturday, February 16, 2008, of Mrs. Mary Anastasia Ellis (nee Gillis), formerly of New Dominion, aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Ellis. Mary will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her sister, Catherine Wilson, her numerous nieces and nephews, including her special caregivers: Joe and Heather Fraser of New Dominion. Besides her husband, Fred, she was predeceased by her parents: Joseph and Mary (Montgomery) Gillis of St. Peter's Bay, her sisters: Mildred Dalton and Frances Fraser, and brothers: Lawrence Gillis and Charles Gillis. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where a public funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired memorials in her memory can be made to the P.E.I. Division of the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society. No visiting hours by personal request.
