WADE, James William WADE, James William - In his 72nd year, passed away in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point, Shelburne Co., on February 15, 2008. He was a resident of Swim's Point, Cape Sable Island. Born in St. John, N.B., he was a son of the late Captain James W. Wade Sr. and Florence L. Mingo. Jim is survived by aunt, Ellen (Mrs. Ron Bell); his spouse, Teresa Robertson; sons, Thomas, Anthony James, and Michael; daughters, Tracy and Vanessa; eight grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne. At Jim's request there will be no service. In memory of Jim, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Jim's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mark Riley and palliative care nurse, Jacquie O'Toole, RN, for the wonderful care and support for Jim and family. Also a special thanks to Vince Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Nickerson. Thank you to Kevin Smith for caring for Jim during his illness and all friends who visited and called Jim.
