Michelle Alayne RYAN

RYAN, Michelle Alayne, RN RYAN, Michelle Alayne, RN - 45, passed away suddenly in Alexandria, Va., U.S.A., on February 12, 2008. She was the daughter of Helen Marie (Sangster) Ryan and the late H. William "Bill" Ryan. Michelle was a graduate of Prince Andrew High School and Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing (1986). Following careers in both Halifax and Dartmouth hospitals, she worked in the United States. Her patients will remember her as an excellent nurse. She will be sadly missed by her colleagues and many friends. She has a great love for dogs. Besides her mother, Helen, she is survived by sister, Lisa Ryan, Halifax, and brother, Mark Ryan (Anne Mitchell), Wellington. She was predeceased by her father, H. William "Bill" Ryan; grandparents, Freeman and Vivian (Fraser) Sangster, and William and Eileen (Barteaux) Ryan. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass was held for Michelle in Sarasota, Fla.
