Louisa Frank Pattee HOLTBY

HIGGINSON, Louisa Frank Pattee (nee Holtby) - Died peacefully on February 15, 2008 at Fairhaven in her 94th year after a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Beloved wife of the late John William Higginson (d. 1991). Louisa and John led a square dancing group in Peterborough for many years. They enjoyed summers at Rock Island on Mississauga Lake. They were active members of George Street United Church and supporters of the Kiwanis Music Festival. Louisa is survived by her loving children: Mary Lou Fulford (Paul d. 1999) of Sussex, NB, John (Joan) of Peterborough, James (Alice) of Peterborough and Charles (Pat) of Victoria, B.C. Loving grandmother of Wendy Huggard (Jim), Brad Fulford (Kim), Julie Higginson (Rik), Matthew Higginson (Drothia), Lee Higginson (Chris), Sarah Higginson (Rob), Ben Higginson (Kristin), Emily Higginson and Nick Blasko (Casey). Greatgrandmother of Baleigh Fulford, Nicholas Huggard and Charley Jones. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to Fairhaven Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated and can be made through LITTLE LAKE CEMETERY at 745-6984.
