Hilda May FARTHING

SMITH, Hilda May (nee Farthing) - Born in Lindsay on December 26, 1915, and passed peacefully at the Springdale Country Manor, Peterborough, on Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the age of 92. Dear wife of the late Gordon Smith. Loving mother of Garry and his wife Joan and Stephen and his wife Jacquie, both of Alberta. Predeceased by her sons Herbert, Ronald, Harold, Robert and her infant daughter June. Hilda will be missed by her 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her parents Reginald Farthing and Elsie Winters and siblings Cora Hetherington, Anita Stoneburg, Irene Forsythe, Ruth O'Coyne, Grace Rogers, Gordon Arnott, and Norman Farthing. Friends may call at the HIGHLAND PARK VISITATION/RECEPTION CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. (at River Rd. S.) on Wednesday, February 20, from 1-2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
