WHITE, Mariette Lucille (Desgroseilliers) - Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Sunday, February 17, 2008, Mariette Lucille (Desgroseilliers) White, age 80, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Alexander White and dear mother of Larry White and his wife Coralee, Pat White, Roxanne Dumouchel (Bob Solomon), Valerie Berube and her husband Steve, Carla White (Bob Harrison), and Paula Banks and her husband Terry all of Sarnia and Garnet White (Beth Perry) of Petrolia. Also survived by twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Madeline Legault and her husband Rene, of London, Norma Handy of Sarnia, Simone Burdan of Corunna, Joan Bozzer of Timmins, Jackie Belair of Hope B.C., and Raymond Desgroseilliers and his wife Jerry of Camlachie. Sister-in-law of Marjorie Chilton and her husband Robert of Kitchener. A Sarnia area resident for most of her life Mariette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, February 20th at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Lambton Lung Association or the Charity of Choice (Cheques only please).
