DISHER, Helen - On Sunday, February 24, 2008, Helen Disher (nee Everett) in her 94th year peacefully passed away at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, Ont. Helen will be remembered for her wonderful smile, her sense of humour and her morning motto “I will make this the best day that I possibly can“. Helen is predeceased by her husbands, David MacVicar, 1961, Chris Anderson, 1974, John Beane, 1988, and Don Disher, 1997. She is predeceased by her dear brother Ted Everett, 2004 and much loved sister-in-law Vi Everett, 1996. Loving mother of Mack MacVicar (Andrea) of Florida. Very special aunt of Judith and Dave Pritchard, Mary and Roger Sales, and Nancy and Don Lahti. Great aunt of Bryan, Scott (Sophie), Heather, Kelly and Tanya, and great great aunt of Riley, Everett, Oliver and Samuel. Many thanks for the warm and loving care given to Helen by the Staff of Park Lane Terrace and Telfer Place. The family will receive friends at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd., N. on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be in the chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Barry Bain of Fairview United Church will officiate. A family interment service will be in Farringdon Burial Ground Thursday.
