OWENS, Vera “Irene“ - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her home on Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Peter for 46 years. Loving mother of Cheryl (Brad), and Mark (Connie). Devoted grandmother of Brittany and Aaron, and Stephanie and Joshua. She is survived by her sisters Marion (Gordon) Stratford and Marjorie Good and her brothers George (Helen), Lloyd (Gerrie), Bob (Phyllis) and Don (Shirley). Predeceased by her sister Barbara Goldsmith. She will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson St. on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Sheila Burns Officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. R.
