Eleanor VAUGHAN

Eleanor (Vaughan) Reid Eleanor Reid passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in St. Martin's, N.B., she was the daughter of the late George and Annie (Paisley) Vaughan. She was the beloved mother of David Reid of Daytona Beach and Moncton. She leaves her sister, Barbara Vaughan, of Etobicoke, Ontario and many nieces and nephews for whom she had a special fondness. She was predeceased by husband, Harold Reid; sisters, Deane Miller, Mildred Carey and Pauline Campbell; and brothers, George, Donald and Harold Vaughan. She attended Central United Church and was a founding member of the Fort Monckton Chapter of the I.O.D.E. A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 2-4 at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007). The interment will be in the family lot in Fernhill Cemetery in Saint John, N.B. at a later date. If so desired, memorials to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
