MODE, Margaret (nee McLeod) Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home surrounded by her family on Saturday February 23, 2008 Margaret Mode of Vankleek Hill at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Donald and Christy McLeod. Beloved wife of the late Sydney Mode. Loving and devoted mother of Leigh (Karin), Donald (Bridget) and Bruce (Susan). Predeceased by her daughter Diane Tolhurst, her son Merrill and her daughter in-law Heather. Dearly loved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her son in-law Bob Tolhurst. Predeceased by her twin sister Katherine MacLennan, her sisters Hilda McMartin, Allie Wilson and her brother Roddie. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Knox Presbyterian Church 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill on Wednesday February 27, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
