WARMBOLD, Elisabeth 2008-02-27 Warmbold, Elisabeth - The Warmbold family wishes to announce the passing of their mother on February 24, 2008 just shy of her 100th birthday. Elisabeth Warmbold was born in Hannover, Germany on April 04, 1908. In 1951 moved to Thunder Bay and then to St. Catharines in 1986. In 1988 she was admitted to Heidehof Home. She was a member of the Lutheran Church baptized and confirmed in Germany. Her interests were her husband, her children, her home. She is survived by her sons Dieter(Elvira), and Jack, her daughters Waltraut Scarcello(Romeo), Anne Seaman Tim), 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchilden, 6 great-great grandchilden. Predeceased by her husband Wilhelm (1976), daughter Elizabeth (1999), and one great granddaughter (1990). Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Matthew Diegel of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church presiding. Immediately following the service a reception will be held in the Sargent Family Reception Centre. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Sargent & Son Funeral Home. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
