McCANN, Sylvia (nee Sydor) - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb 13, 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, after a courageous battle with cancer. Sylvia McCann, of Utopia, in her 74th year. Beloved mother of Michael McCann (Michelle). Cherished grandmother of Chris, Josh, Tammy, Ben and James. Daughter of the late Emilien and Frances Sydor. Spouse of Mike McCann. Sylvia will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. Friends may call at the STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. Spring interment at Minesing Union Cemetery.
