McNABB, Colin M. (Pete) - At Douglas Memorial Hospital on Tuesday February 12, 2008, Colin (Pete) M. McNabb beloved husband of the late Kathleen (“Kay“) (Baxter) McNabb; dear father of Colleen Hunnicutt (Joe) Charlotte, N.C., & Kirstie Smollett (Steve) of Nassau, Bahamas; grandfather of Jim Hunnicutt (Brandi), Patrick Hunnicutt, Chris Hunnicutt, Stephanie Smollett & Karen Smollett & 1 great-grandson Kellen Hunnicutt; brother of Reita Bruyns of Sidney, B.C. Pete was born in Acton, Ontario, on August 25, 1913. He and Kay married in 1943. They moved to Nassau, Bahamas in 1945 and spent many happy years there, moving back to Canada in 1987. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at Windmill Point Church of Christ (Disciples) on Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Windmill Point Church of Christ (Disciples) Cemetery. Following the interment a reception to celebrate Pete's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.71, Fort Erie from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. If so desired donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. 10992009
