Christine MONTREUIL

MONTREUIL, Christine (Anderson) - At the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, February 18th, 2008 in her 57th year. Christine is survived by her loving partner Paula Bourner and her children Don and Paul Anderson and Michele and Jason Bourner. Dear sister of Sharon Reardon, Jerry (Carol) Montreuil and Donald (Linda) Montreuil. Christine was a gifted and helpful counselor with the Niagara Sexual Assault Centre and to women in distress from rape and violence. She was also a fighter for Social Justice & Equality for the poor and for women, especially single mothers. Her strong alto voice will be missed by the members of Womenchant. Her smile lit up her face and warmed the hearts of all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday, February 21st from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. Cremation to follow.
