JOHNSON, Muriel Georgia – Peacefully at Oakwood Park Lodge, Niagara Falls on February 19, 2008 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bryce Johnson (1992) and loving mother of Brian and his wife Susan. Sister-in-law of Pauline Elsie and Margaret Stokes and their families. Predeceased by her longtime friend Roy Yager. Mrs. Johnson was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the Altar Guild. She worked at various retail stores and the Welland Tribune, before retiring from the Land Registry Office. Muriel was the membership chairman of the Horticultural Society for many years and was a member of the Welland Humane Society. The family will receive friends at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, February 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 77 Division Street on Friday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dan Bennett and Rev. Graham Thorpe officiating. Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
