DE PALO, Emilia - On Sunday February 24, 2008, Emilia peacefully passed away, with her family at her side, at Hospice Niagara at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Paolo and dear and loving mother of Nancy (Darcy) Driscoll of Niagara Falls and Christina (Carm) Di Tiberio of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Emily, Michael and Carina and sister of Panfilo Giammarco. Predeceased by her beloved sister Yolanda Ventresca. Emilia was a longtime member of the Lady's Auxiliary at Club Italia. Emilia will be resting at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES 5917 Main Street, where her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil will be held at the funeral home of Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rite of committal with entombment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In memory of Emilia, in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Hospice Niagara Stabler Center.
