STAPLES, Marjorie - Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home in Port Hope on Saturday, March 1st, 2008, Marjorie Staples (nee Stevenson) at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of the late James Staples. Dear mother of Gary (Gina) of Florida, Lance of Burlington, Susan Davis (Ivan) of Bailieboro, Richard (Dianne) of Cobourg, and Benjamin (Deborah) of Cobourg. Cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Sister of David Stevenson (the late Marg), Lorraine Stanyer (the late Tom), and the late Ruth Brown (the late Gordon). Sister-in-law of Pauline Blastorah, and the late Helen Cane. Also missed by her good and faithful neighbour Eve McIvor (the late Frank). A Funeral Service will be held at MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Thursday, March 6th, at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 5th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
