Anson LIDSTONE

LIDSTONE, Anson - Peacefully after a long illness at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday, February 10, 2008. Anson John Lidstone of R.R.#2 Ingleside age 92 years. Anson was loved for his kindness and willingness to help others. He was employed as a rural mailman and also farmed. He is the beloved husband of Anne (Cheresna) Lidstone. Loving father of John of Ingleside, Barbara Brown (Steve) of Milton, Ont., Janice Wetzel (Tony) of Cornwall and Brenda Fillion (George) of St. Andrew's, Ont. Dear brother of Blake of Scarborough and Claude of Toronto. Sadly missed by his five grandchildren Douglas, Murray, Jordan, Jonathan, Leah and his one great grandchild Colby. Predeceased by his parents Merrill and Carrie (Walsh) Lidstone; two brothers Edward, Carman and two sisters Miriam and Dorothy. (A service in celebration of Anson Lidstone's life will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Gallingertown on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:00pm). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kingdom Hall in Gallingertown would be appreciated by the family.
