DOIG, Bethany Sara - It is with a profound sense of sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected loss of our dear and beloved Bethie at University Hospital in London on Sunday, March 2, 2008, due to an aggressive viral infection at the age of 21. She will be forever missed by her dad Stephen and mother Peggy (Davis) and her brother Josh. She was the youngest grandchild of Frances Doig. She will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by Grandpa Doig and Grandma and Grandpa Davis. Bethany was an avid lover of children and worked her magic with them. She was a strong-willed, free-spirited young woman with unlimited promise, the loss of which we will never overcome. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 11:00 AM at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of cards, sympathy through donations will be accepted through your local Children's Aid Society or Pediatric Inpatient Units.
