Ann BALOG

BOTUIK, Ann (nee Balog) - It is with sadness that we announce Ann's passing at Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday March 6, 2008, in her 88th year. Ann leaves behind her husband Walter of 71 years. Dear mother of her son Albert (Kay) Botuik and daughters Pat (Sam) Avery and Barb Sahagian. She is also survived by her sisters Kay (Jack) King, Stella (Walter) Dawdy, Elsie (Hugh) Corbett, Jenny McIntyre and Mary Balog. Also by her brothers Nick (Kay) Balog, Bill Balog and Mike Balog. Much loved Baba of ten grandchildren, Allison, Jeffrey, Tracey, Deborah, Bryan, Michael, Jodie, Sara, Kristen and Geoffrey. Great Baba of 9 great grandchildren, Jessie, Caleb, Keely, McKenna, Dimitri, Stephanie, Blair, Morgan and Luke. Ann is predeceased by her sister Helen Brillinger and by grandson Billie Avery. She was a longtime member of the Scotland Community. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE 88 Brant Avenue on Monday from 11 am - 1 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1 pm. Interment to follow, Scotland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann's memory to the Sakura Hospice, c/o Oxford VON, 570 Ingersoll Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario. N4S 4Y2.
