Victoria Gizzella SZILVASI

KOHAJDA, Victoria “Vicki” Gizzella (Szilvasi) - passed away on Sunday March 16, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham campus with her daughters by her side. Vicki was born in Saskatchewan 76 years ago and was predeceased by her husband George Kohajda, 1992. Surviving are her three daughters Kathy Kohajda & Gary Swance of Huntsville, Nancy Kohajda of Chatham and Karolyn Kohajda of London. She is also survived by her sisters Elsie of Blenheim, Dorothy of London and Irene of London. She is predeceased by her sister Betty and by brothers George and Bill. Vicki was passionate about growing fruits and vegetables. Together, she and her husband George owned and operated Pine Crest Farms on Talbot Trail for over 50 years. The Kohajda family would like to invite friends to attend visitation at the BLENHEIM COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim on Wednesday March 19, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service honouring Vicki's life will be held from the Funeral Home on Thursday March 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Greg Mulligan of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Pardoville Cemetery. Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Vicki, are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society, Blenheim Relay for Life.
