Richard Averil BALDWIN

BALDWIN, Richard Averil - In loving memory of Richard Averil Baldwin, who passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at CEE Hospital, Petrolia at the age of 50 with his family at his side. He is the beloved husband of Renate Baldwin (Haemmerle) of Wyoming and the loving father of Kirsten and Jonathan Baldwin of Wyoming. Son of Blair and Pat Baldwin of Wyoming. Brother of Patricia Baldwin, Shaun Baldwin and wife Mary, Scott Baldwin, Terry Baldwin and wife Diane. Son-in-law of Christa Haemmerle and the late Wilhelm Haemmerle (1988) of Rust, Germany. Brother-in-law of Heinrich Haemmerle and wife Sabine, Harald Haemmerle and wife Heidi of Kappel- Grafenhausen Germany. Uncle of Brian, Colleen, Jeffery, Krystal, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeff and Jasmine. Richard served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 23 years and 2 years with the Canadian Reserves of Sarnia. He also worked for the City of Sarnia as Garage Supervisor until his battle with cancer. A special thank-you to the Cancer Clinic in London, Orthopedics of Victoria Hospital in London, CEE Hospital, all doctors, nurses, and the VON for their excellent care. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Anglican Church, 1194 Murphy Rd, Sarnia. Private family interment at Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
