OBITUARY BERNARD (BERNIE) MATTIE Bernard (Bernie) Mattie passed away peacefully in the company of his family on Sunday, March 9, 2008 in Montreal at the age of sixty-two. Loving husband of 40 years to Diane and caring father of Carol (Anibal), Connie (Karl), Donna (Mike), Theresa (Paulo), Tammy (Kevin) and proud grandfather to Michael, Jessica, Haley, Jake, Ryan, Emily, Dylan, Brent, Olivia, Kelly and Amy. He also leaves to mourn brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Oncology department at Notre-Dame hospital with a special thank-you to Dr. Colombe, Dr. Tibet and their team as well as the palliative care unit for the special care received. The family will receive condolences at Alfred D'allaire Memoria 1120 Jean Talon Street on Wednesday March 12, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Family Parish 7355 Lajeunesse on March 13, at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Ste. Rose de Lima cemetery in Ste-Rose, Laval. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pali-Ami at the Notre-Dame hospital or the Quebec Cancer Society Published in the Montreal Gazette from 3/11/2008 - 3/12/2008
