Arthur Edwin STANFORD

STANFORD, Arthur (Art) Edwin Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Monday March 10th, 2008 at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital. Born in Cornwall August 19th, 1922, he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, June (Church) Stanford, his daughters Sally Stanford of Oshawa, Jan Stanford-Suglio (Jim) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Penny Stanford of Ottawa. Loving Grandfather of Brigid, Keavin, and Alexander. Art was predeceased by his parents Fred and Eva Stanford, one sister Elizabeth (Betty) Langin. Art was a veteran of W. W. II, having served with the R.C.A.F. Resting at McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall, (613) 932-6300, from 1:15 p.m. Thursday March 13th, 2008 until time of service. A celebration of Art's life will take place in the Chapel of the Funeral Home Thursday March 13th, 3:30 p.m. Rev. Cathy Davis officiating.
