Marie BANN

BANN, Marie McColl Marie Bann passed away peacefully at Prince of Wales Manor on Thursday, March 13, 2008, in her 78th year, after a tiring battle with cancer. A Newry girl from Northern Ireland, Marie is predeceased by her parents William and Bessie (nee McColl), and her brothers Allan, John, Teddy and Jim. She leaves behind two brothers in Northern Ireland, Billy and Archie, and her loving sister, Betty MacDonald of Ottawa. A favourite Auntie, she will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews in Ottawa and Toronto, and back home in the 'old country'. Many thanks to the staff of Prince of Wales Manor for their kindness and compassion. No visitation or services are planned at this time; a celebration of Marie's life will be held by the family at a later date.
