Luis Fred Barrios October 09, 1934 - September 30, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) BARRIOS, Luis Fred - 69, Bedford, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004. Born in Lima, Peru, he was a son of Cesar and Victoria. He left Peru to join the U.S. Air Force. In 1974, he moved to Nova Scotia where he coached soccer and in 1979 founded Barrios Concrete Ornaments Ltd. He is survived by son, Roberto, Bedford; daughters, Nina Barrios-Simms (Ranald), Lower Sackville; Helen Barrios (Mike), Bedford; Beverley Richardson (Mike), Sackville; grandchildren, Riley, Samantha and Ryan Simms, Logan and Jenna Richardson; brother, Cesar (Angela), Peru; sister, Gladys Buermans, Ottawa; cousin, Nelly Farcic, Bedford. Fred will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Sunday, October 3, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be in St. Ignatius Church, Bedford, on Monday, October 4, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willow Hall, Nova Scotia Hospital
