Elizabeth Ann THOMAS

SMITH, Elizabeth Ann - 66, Digby, passed away March 2, 2008, at home. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Annie (Dennison) Thomas. She loved collecting beach rocks and was an avid tole painter. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; daughter, Patricia (Bill) Rafuse, Lower Sackville; sons, Joseph (Nicole) Smith, Cornwallis; Richard (Theresa) Smith, Digby; sisters, Gloria (George) Blackmore, Smith's Cove; Bessie (James) Carpenter, Fergus, Ont.; brothers, Richard (Doris) Thomas, Digby; Archie (Tina) Thomas, Cole Harbour; George (Elizabeth) Thomas, Digby; grandchildren, Lacey, Leeann, Kari, Eric, Spencer, Jessica; stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Jessica, Rachel, Jessica; great-granddaughter, Emma; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Peter; brothers, Arthur and Roy; sisters, Pearl and Mildred in infancy, Helen Ellis and Alice Renaud. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Pastor Marion Duncan will officiate. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
