JAY, Lily Pearl At the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Saturday, March 8, 2008, of Pearl Jay of Bunbury in her 83rd year. Born in New Waterford, N.S., to the late Robert and Mary Jane (Pike) Chipman. Wife of the late Walter Angus Jay (formerly of Fort Augustus). Loving mother of Donald (Lorraine) Jay, Eric (Louise) Jay, Gloria Jay and Lynda Landry; grandmother of Lee (Jennifer) Jay, Deina Jay, Cara (Jon) Bauld and Cheryl Landry. Survived by brothers-in-law, Everett (Florence) Jay and Wilfred (Judy) Jay, and sisters-in-law, Alice (Tom) Dunn, Laura (Edward) Arsenault and Edna (Ira) Birt. Predeceased by brothers, Roy (Eva) Chipman, Donald (Cassie) Chipman, Howard (Betty) Chipman and Robert (Edna) Chipman, and by sisters, Maude (Roland) Coish and Violet (Roy) Smith. Predeceased also by brothers-in-law, Gordon (Iva) Jay and Howard Jay, and sister-in-law, Jean (Alden) Birt. Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral services to be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Charlottetown, at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 13. Interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Cathedral or the Canadian Cancer Society.
