SWANSON, Pearl (née Bodick) - Pearl Swanson passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by those she loved. She was predeceased by her father John Bodick Sr., brother John Bodick Jr. and mother in law Norma Swanson. Pearl is survived by her mother Kathleen (née Cepesko); husband Peter Swanson of Kirkland Lake; children Kelly and Shannon Bodick both of Kirkland Lake, Kim (Chris) Wolff of B.C. and Karen (John) Gabara of B.C. and grandchildren Brook and Colton Gabara. She is also survived by her siblings Peter (Carol) Bodick of Kirkland Lake, Deborah Bodick of B.C., Patricia (Keith) Bell of Ajax and Coleen (John) Frangrad of Dutton. Pearl will be greatly missed by those who loved her and knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the “Teck-Hughes Chapel“ of the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the Daffodil Lodge (41 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury, ON., P3E 5J1), House Of Kin (1889 Regent Street, Sudbury, ON., P3E 3Z7).
