Martin WIDDIFIELD

Martin Widdifield of Englehart died suddenly on January 10, 2008 in Englehart. Mr. Widdifield was born in Dack Township in 1954. He married Cathy MacRae in Englehart in 2003. Mr. Widdifield, who worked for Ontario Northland, was a family man and a hard worker who loved boating and fishing. He was also a member of the Charlton Legion. Mr. Widdifield is survived by his wife Cathy; brother Rick (Theresa); sister Brenda (Richard) McLean; children Brian (MacRae), Katie (MacRae); and nephews Danny, Trevor, Brent, Mark and Mike. He was predeceased by his mother Kit and father Oakley Widdifield, and niece Tammy Widdifield. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart with the service conducted January 13 by Reverend Jessica Cottrell at the United Church.Pallbearers were Robin Flewwelling, Ross Martin, Paul Martin, Bernie LaCharity, Gus Porter and Eric Froelick. Cremation to follow. In memory contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
