Gilbert Génier Passed away on / Décédé(e) le February 28, 2008 We regret to announce the death of Gilbert Génier on Thursday, February 28 at his residence at the age of 52. He is survived by his wife, Lucette, three children, Louanne Génier companion of Eric Gravel of Fauquier, Mélodie Laplante wife of Roch and Gilbert companion of Cynthia Beauchamps all of Kapuskasing, his parents, Lilianne and Aurèle of Kapuskasing, four sisters, Lise Ratté wife of John of Limoges, Diane Trudel wife of René, Sylvie Génier and Bernice Génier all of Kapuskasing, three brothers, Gérald husband of Marianne of Casselman, Daniel of Montréal and René of Kapuskasing as well as three grandsons, Riley, Bobby and Jayden. He was predeceased by one sister and one brother. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Robert Tremblay officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
