Richard ANHORN

Anhorn: Richard 1940 - 2004 Richard Anhorn passed away on March 13, 2004. He will be survived by his sons Dean Anhorn and Glen (Tracy) Anhorn; four grandchildren; sisters Marjorie, Laura and Violet; and brothers Harold, Vern, Harvey and Gary. Richard was predeceased by his father Jacob Anhorn, and his mother Rose Anhorn. Richard was born in Hilda on April 12, 1940. He married Mary Suderman in 1965 nd had two sons, Dean and Glen. He lived in Winnipeg for a short time, working as a welder. The family moved to Oyen in 1973 where Richard worked many trades; welding, trucking, farming, construction and autowrecking. In the 1990 s up until the present, Richard lived in Drumheller where he worked as a machinist and welder. He enjoyed camping, fishing and tinkering with cars. He loved cooking, dancing and socializing, and was always ready for a good joke. Above all, Richard loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004 at 1 p.m. from Courtney-Winter's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Canadian Diabetes Association. Courtney-Winter's in care of arrangements.
