MAROIS - Cecile (Dorval) Marois passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Hospice Niagara on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the age of 78. She is reunited with her husband Paul who passed in 1996. Dearly loved mother of Pauline Smith (Mark), Carol Skinner (Brad), and Jo- Ann Perreault (Robert). Sadly missed by her ten grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Jeannette Olah, Jeanine Rankin, and Eveline Venne. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Marois was predeceased by her parents Omer and Rose-Anna Dorval, her brother Henri Dorval, and her sisters Noella Arseneault, Alice Chabot and Helen Lapointe. Friends may call at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Thursday at 12 noon. Cremation will follow. A family interment service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
