DALEY, Brain Arthur DALEY, Brain Arthur - 63, Valley, Colchester Co., passed away suddenly Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Albert "Barney" and June (Miller) Daley. Brian was a scout leader. He worked for the C.N.R., worked for many years as a mechanic and later at Eastern Cable. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Judith Emery MacKenzie; son, Arthur (Trina), Valley; daughter, Trisha Daley (Bruce Henry), Emerald, P.E.I.; grandsons, Tim, David, Jordan. He will also missed by his loyal dog Tessa. He was predeceased by brothers, Gerald, Vernon, Dennis. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, all in Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, Rev. Brian DeLong will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in Brian's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
