KIRSTEIN, Irving. Gentle soul, suddenly and tragically, on Friday March 14, 2008. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Sylvia (Trachimovsky). Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Russell (Genevieve Bettinville), Steven (Lesli Green) and Steven. Step-father and father-in-law of Gordon Schwartz, and Joanie Schwartz (Glen Grossman). Cherished grandfather (Poppy) of Rachel, Hannah, Adam, Jacob, Ethan, Abigail and Zoe. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jack (Sheila), Mark (the late Sabine) and Seymour (Alice) Trachimovsky. Son of the late Rita and Abe Kirstein. Predeceased by his first wife, Rachel (Teboul) Kirstein. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and all who knew him. Funeral Services at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, March 18 at 12 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private until Friday afternoon.
