GUSTAVSEN, Harry Gustavsen Harry Gustavsen of Strathmore passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 5, 2007, at the age of 88 years. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Phil (Sharen) Gustavsen, Ray (Donna) Gauthier; grandchildren, Ginny (Perry), Joanne, Russell (Susan), Darren (Tracie), Dereck (Cori) and Cari (Terry) and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Freda Ricard and very close friend Pat Gates and her family; sisters-in-law Lil Gustavsen, Angele (Ken) Stewart, Leah (Tony) Kostyshin; brother-in-law Leo (Betty) Gauthier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his wife Laurette in 2002 and infant daughter Dorene; his parents Alfred and Anna Gustavsen; one brother Axel Gustavsen and two sisters Anna Madsen and Evelyn Christensen. Harry served overseas during World War II. He was a member of the Hussar Lions and Standard and Strathmore Legions. He was also a Councilor for the town of Hussar. Harry made friends wherever he went with his sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and his special family at Lambert Village. Harry's family would like to express their gratitude to Murray and Linda Gates, Wheatland EMS and Wheatland Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend a Viewing at MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Harry's Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dawn Nelson officiating. Graveside Service to follow in the Field of Honor, Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
