Mary May MONEO

KAMINSKI, Mary May (nee Moneo) April 22, 1920 - March 26, 2008 Mary Kaminski was born at Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan on April 22, 1920. Mary passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the age of 87 years at the Fanning Centre, after suffering a broken hip and stroke, she was a patient in the Safe Living Alzheimer's Unit at Scenic Acres Retirement Residence. She is survived by her loving husband John. They were married sixty-two years. Mary is also survived by her children Candice Cook (David), Melvin Kaminski (Joanne) her grandchildren; Suzanne Hoefling (Stephen), Sean Cook (Shannon), Michael, Alison, Aaron Kaminski, and great-granddaughters; Emma Hoefling and Katie Mary Cook. Mary came from a family of eleven children and mother and father Moneo; they all predeceased her. Her married life was spent in Regina, Vancouver, White Rock and Calgary. The family is grateful for the loving care she received from the staff at Scenic Acres and the Fanning Centre and from our family doctor, Dr. Richard Ward. Many thanks are extended to the numerous relatives and friends who included Mary in their prayers. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Garnet Leach officiating.
