HOLT, Alfred 90 years, on Friday, August 27, 2004, at the Leamington Nursing Home. Late of Cottam. Loving husband of the late Fern (Smith) 1994. Dear father of Wayne and his friend Ann of Leamington, Clare and his friend Pam of Cottam, and George and his wife Krystal of Leamington. Beloved grand-father of Brenda and husband Mike Donahue, Brian, Clare, Cary, Christopher, Tyler, Richard and wife Michelle Maitland; and great grand-children Carly, Brittney, Justin, and Kadan. Also survived by a sister Ann Evans, sisters-in-law Nina Morrison and Grace Russell. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Betty Holt (1998), a great granddaughter Kendra (2002), sisters Jose Holt (1940), Kathleen Law (1990), Alice Day (1998), and brothers-in-law Bill Day (1961), Harold Evans (1972), Clare Smith (1936), Ray Smith (1988), Wilbur Smith (2000), and Geoff Law (1972). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Hammond Funeral Home, 318 Erie Street South, Leamington (326-8423), on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Jones officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Brooker Baptist Church, the Canadian Diabetes Asociation, or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
