Edward SAUVE

SAUVE, Edward (Pic) 81 years, on September 1, 2004 at Extendicare Tecumseh after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband and best friend of Norma (Gagnier) for 49 years and caregiver for the last 13 years. Predeceased by his parents Dennis Sauve and Hazel Mullins. Dear son-in-law of the late Louis Gagnier and Agnes Beaune. Dear brother of Russell Sauve and wife Sally, Theresa Seguin and husband Bob, all of Belle River. Predeceased by the late Maybelle Manchester (1973) and the late Louis (Dutch), the late Earl Sauve (1986) and Betty Sauve, the late Mary Karnot (2002) and husband Steve, the late Pauline Grant (2000) and the late Gil (2004). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ed was a member of the Knights of Columbus #2775 and was in partnership with his two brothers of Dennis Sauve and Sons Building Supplies. Visiting Thursday, Sept 2, from 7 to 9 and Friday, Sept 3 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. K of C prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Parish Prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 at 10:00 a.m. to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Edward Sauve in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
