ESSEX, Richard John - On Thursday, February 5, 2004, beloved husband of Susan Wade. Devoted and loving father of Jennifer and Jessica. Son of James and the late Christine. Pre-deceased by his brother Bob. Dear brother of Ron and his wife Suzanne and Vicki Skelton. Son-in-law of Beverly Wade and the late John Wade. Brother-in-law of Jane and her husband Gil and Leslie and her husband Wayne. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and grand nieces. Rick served as a teacher, vice-principal and principal for 28 years within the Kawartha Pineridge District School Board and most recently as principal of Peterborough Collegiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kawartha Pineridge and District School Board Richard Essex Scholarship fund. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at P.C.V.S.
