GRANDE, Nicola 74 years, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side September 22, 2004 at W.R.H.C. Metropolitan Campus. Cherished Husband of Rita and the late Giuseppina (1976). Father of Giovanni (Colomba). Loving Grandfather of Gianfranco, Domenico and Michele. Dear Brother of Giuseppe (Teresa) Italy, Teresa (Giovanni) Michiona Italy, Maria (Rogiro) Grande, Vincenzina (Omar) Grande and Frencesca (Robert) Grande all of Argentina. Dear Brother-in-law of Virginia and the late Angelo Modestino, Attilia (Sesto) Colangeli. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Nicola was a dedicated retiree of Daimler Chrysler Canada Inc. since 1995 and a member of CAW Local 444, St. Angela Church Holy Name Society and the past vice president of the Senior's Italian Community Centre. Family and Friends will be received at the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral Saturday September 25, 2004 leaving the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. to St. Angela Merici Roman Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. A tree will be planted in memory of Nicola Grande in the Janisse Bros. Marcotte Heritage Forest.
