Crystal Elinor HENDRY

MIDFORD, Crystal Elinor (Porter / Hendry) 1924 - 2004 Passed away peacefully, April 30, after a brave struggle with ill health, her children Lynne and Craig Porter at her side. It was fitting that Crystal, a life-long resident of Peterborough, who dearly loved her city, passed away at PRHC (Civic Hospital). Crystal was predeceased by her parents, Luella and Thomas Hendry, her twin brother Robert Hendry (WWII RCAF), her sisters Jean Loomis and Kay Hendry, and her dear husbands, Robert Porter and Dick Midford. Sincere thanks to all who helped care for Crystal with compassion and kindness in her last years - her caregiver Martha Devere-Bennett, staff at Princess Gardens, Fairhaven and Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Crystal will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 5/7/2004- ID3923035 - Peterborough Examiner
