NOURSE, Margaret C. (Leake) "She didn't really feel that well after all." Peggy, whose presence offered fun, banter, optimism and adventure in her families' and friends' daily lives, has passed away October 21, 2007 at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary, Alberta. It is the Lord's turn to put up with Peggy now; we hope He knows how to make a good cup of coffee. She loved everybody and loved life. With determination, sanguinity and inspiration, she did everything required to hold off her cancer. She lives in our hearts as an encouragement to find good ways to be here, no matter what the challenge. She was predeceased by her mother Agnes (1956), her husband Jug (1989), her father's second wife, Mildred (1990), and her father Ted (1996). Left to mourn is her partner, Doug Hanington; her five children, Tim (Larissa), Kimberley (Chris) McCormack, David (Corrinne), Becky (Jim) Boyd of Calgary, Danny (Lisa) of Denver; seven grandchildren, Danny and Nicole Thornton, Caity and Skye McCormack, Cole and Ryan Nourse, Tyler West; three siblings, Louise (Mits) Uchibori of Hawaii, Jerry (Kay) Leake of Edmonton, Donna (Brian) Stackhouse of Red Deer; and many dear relatives and friends. Thank you for being part of our life Peggy. We love you. She valued inclusion "Hospitality is a form of worship" (the Talmud). At every level Peggy lived this.
