SHAPKA, IRENE May 3, 2007 "Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch, Still we have so many memories, Of the one we loved so much. Your memory is our keepsake, With which we'll never part, God has you in His keeping, We have you in our heart. If we had all the world to give, We'd give it, yes, and more, To hear your voice, see your smile, And greet you at the door. But all we can do, dear Mother, Is go tend your grave, And leave behind tokens of love, To the best Mother God made." Sadly missed and forever in our hearts, Steve, John, Gaylene, Douglas, Cheryl, Hans, Christina, Isabell and families. Published in the Calgary Herald on 5/3/2008
